Unfurnished
Usually just fans, lights, and kitchen and bathroom fittings. You bring everything else. The rent is lowest, and it suits families who already own furniture and plan to stay long.
Semi-furnished
The middle ground and the most common in Patna. Typically adds wardrobes, a kitchen platform with cabinets, a geyser and sometimes curtain rods, lights in every room or an exhaust fan. Beds and sofas are usually not included.
Fully furnished
Ready to move in: beds, mattresses, a sofa, dining table, fridge, and often a washing machine, AC or TV. It costs more and the deposit is often higher, but it saves buying and moving furniture. Good for people on a transfer, short stays and anyone new to Patna.
